M&A and Trade Sales

Julien has handled IR for significant transactions, such as the trade sale of Hellers and the sale of Ritchie’s Transport to private equity firm KKR for several hundred million dollars. Additionally, he provided IR communications support for Haier during its acquisition of a majority stake in Fisher & Paykel Whiteware.

Advisory and Listed Company Experience

Julien has offered strategic advice to the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX). In addition, he has worked closely with numerous listed companies, including SkyCity, Heritage Gold, 2Cheap Cars, Westpac, Auckland International Airport Limited, and Carter Holt Harvey, where he managed or worked market announcements to comply with disclosure requirements and build investor trust. His hands-on involvement extends to writing and preparing annual reports, notably for Auckland International Airport Limited for two years. Julien has also written and prepared Information Memorandums for IPOs and M&A transactions.

IPO and Launch Management

Julien has successfully managed several IPOs overseeing the entire process from preparation to market listing. He also led the launch and ongoing IR for Harmoney, New Zealand’s pioneering peer-to-peer lender, ensuring effective communication with investors during its establishment and growth phases.
