Consultant PJ is a bilingual communications specialist with more than eight years’ experience across corporate, local government and non-profit sectors.

She has worked both in-house and in agencies, where she has specialised in media relations, corporate communications, and issues management.

Since joining Pendulum Strategies, she has worked on a wide range of projects from supporting blood cancer patient advocacy to developing and implementing communication strategies for a Pacific Island Government.

She has helped many clients in navigating high-profile crises and issues and more recently, completed a six-month secondment at the NZ Super Fund, supporting internal communications and engagement.

She has previously worked as a communications and media specialist at Auckland Council and as a communications advisor at the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand.

Having lived in the UK and Taiwan, she also has international experience from working in tech and consumer PR agencies across London and Taipei.

PJ holds a BSc (Hons) in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Auckland and a GDip in Communications from the Unitec Institute of Technology.
